The Upholstery Shed is based on the outskirts of Pewsey in Wiltshire. I am a trained upholsterer and take great pride in restoring furniture, breathing new life into old  heirlooms and updating pieces with beautiful fabrics.

After a decade spent working in a design role for an installation artist, I decided to retrain and  undertook my upholstery diploma in 2015, with the hope of running my own studio one day. In the years since, restoring chairs has become my full time job!

I take commissions of traditional and contemporary upholstery and can advise clients on fabric, with a range of suppliers to suit all budgets. I have a particular passion for mid-century furniture and source interesting chairs which I restore to sell on. It is really important to me that well made furniture is kept in in circulation so we can limit unnecessary waste and the production of new furniture.
